The Concept: Enterprising young reporter Reggie Baxter has found the story of the century in Joe Campbell, a superhuman immortal with a Good Samaritan complex. Problem is, Joe wants to avoid the spotlight at all costs. Undaunted, Reggie comes up with a compromise: Joe will create a super-hero identity, and Reggie will document his activities. Now the attention-starved Reggie and the publicity-shy Joe have to work together to make this business venture succeed. This Issue: After failing to have yet another of his paranormal articles picked up by the LA Register, Reggie Baxter accepts the more mundane task of interviewing the girlfriend of an escaped convict. But Reggie doesn't know that this snoozer of an assignment is going to lead to the story of his career!
